The obp range of Remote Master Cylinders is among the most sought-after braking accessories on the market. Known for their reliability, affordability, and performance — these cylinders are designed with a double internal seal setup, ensuring they stay at the forefront of braking solutions globally.
Whether you’re working on a race car, agricultural equipment, or hydraulic systems, obp Remote Master Cylinders provide the quality and precision you need in challenging environments.
Why Choose a Remote Master Cylinder?
When space in the engine bay is tight, and you can’t fit a master cylinder with a built-in reservoir, remote master cylinders offer the perfect solution. They allow you to mount the brake reservoirs in an alternative location by running a brake reservoir feed hose to the cylinder, providing flexibility without sacrificing performance.
The 2.25-inch (57mm) bolt-hole spacing ensures compatibility with the majority of master cylinders on the market, making installation easy across various applications.
Whether you’re involved in automotive, motorsport, agriculture, or hydraulic systems, obp Remote Master Cylinders are designed to handle it all. From street cars to high-performance race cars, these units ensure top-level braking performance.
What Master Cylinder Size Do You Need?
For automotive and motorsport applications, choosing the right master cylinder size is essential for optimal performance. We typically recommend the following setup:
Front Brakes: 0.625-inch Bore
Rear Brakes: 0.7-inch Bore
Clutch: 0.75-inch Bore
However, this can vary based on the number of pistons in your calipers. For example, larger calipers may require a 0.7-inch or 0.75-inch bore to move enough fluid for maximum braking efficiency.
