We have some more new products to inform you about.

obp Motorsport is leading the way in development, design, manufacture and supply of racecar bias controlled pedal solutions throughout Europe. Our “Fly by wire” (FBW) is the latest upgrade to our range of quality but affordable race pedal boxes.

“Fly by Wire” (FBW) is used in conjunction with a race mapped ECU for rapid response. The pedals have been developed with spring tension providing the driver with the required feedback.

All of these pedal boxes have a brake bias adjustable system for total control over front to rear braking.

The obp FBW Pedal boxes have been designed and developed by a team of experienced engineers at our UK based factory in the motorsport valley.

The linear FBW potentiometer used is specifically designed for the harsh environment of motorsport.

Using proven ‘conductive plastic’ technology, the sensors offer high performance and reliability.

Specifications:

·      Mechanical Life – 
> 25 Million Cycles,

Obp offer various configurations in the following ranges:

·      Track-Pro FBW pedal solutions – Available in car specific designs. Utilising the manufacturers floor pan and in some cases the factory fitted potentiometer

(obp Motorsports offer car specific solutions these are branded as the Track-Pro range and will fit most of the main manufacturers standard floor pan configuration including VW, BMW, FORD, SUBARU etc.)

·      Pro-Race FBW pedal solutions – Available in universal designs. Supplied with a Linear Potentiometer for acute accuracy

(The top selling Pro-Race range these are a universal fit. The Pro-Race (Universal Fit) is a comprehensive range offering top mounted, floor mounted, bulkhead fit and cockpit fit designs.)

Over the years these two ranges of pedal solutions Track-Pro (Car Specific) and the Pro-Race (Universal Fit) have become very popular with race professionals, race teams, Drifting and Rally drivers across the globe.

This FBW development is now available on all the Pro-Race (Universal Fit) range and on the Track-Pro (Car Specific) systems that use the FBW.

On all the Pro-Race FBW (Universal Fit) pedal solutions obp have used a linear potentiometer. The linear potentiometer is reputed to have a better accuracy and response in the Motorsport application. The linear potentiometer that obp use is a high quality UK manufactured unit.
